Also known as “21,” Blackjack is a traditional card game where the object is to draw cards that total 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer. All cards count at face value, while the King, Queen and Jack count as 10, and the Ace which counts as either 1 or 11. It is the most popular of casino card games in the United States.
There are only two main decisions to make in the game - how much to bet and whether to bet on the Bank or on the Player. All cards count at face value. Ace equals one. All tens and face cards, count as zero. The object of the game of Baccarat is to wager whether the Banker's hand or the Player's hand will have a higher value than the other.
As in traditional Baccarat, Mini-Baccarat involves just a few decisions, how much you want to bet and whether to bet on the Bank, the Player, Tie or the Pairs Wager. In betting on the bank, the casino will collect 5% vigorish or commission charge on money won. The commission is paid at the end of play or at the conclusion of each shoe. On select EZ Baccarat™ Mini-Baccarat games, the 5% commission will not be charged on winning Bank hands, instead a winning 3-card Bank hand that totals 7 will be a push.
Players may place a Pairs Wager by placing a wager on one or both of two designated betting areas on the table layout. These betting areas are identified as "Player Pair" and "Banker Pair" and are located on either side of the betting area for the "Tie Hand." A winning Pairs Wager pays 11 to 1. A winning tie bet pays 8 to 1. On Mini-Baccarat games offering the EZ Baccarat™ commission free version, players may place a wager on the "Dragon 7" betting area. Dragon 7 wagers pay 40 to 1 on the occurrence of a winning 3-card Bank hand totaling 7.
In this variation of poker, each player and the dealer receives three cards. The object of the game is to beat the dealer's hand. Players may also wager that their three card hand may contain a pair or better.
Pai Gow Poker combines elements of the ancient Chinese Game of Pai Gow and the American game of poker. The game is played with a traditional deck of 52 playing cards plus one joker. To win, a two-card hand must rank higher than an opponent's two-card hand and a five-card hand must rank higher than an opponent’s five-card hand.
Known for its potential for high payouts, Let It Ride was designed to offer players an opportunity to control two of their three bets wagered. It is based on the five card stud poker game. The object of Let It Ride is to make the best five card hand.
Texas Hold'em is one of the most popular traditional poker games today... one of the reasons is that "any two cards can win." The same holds true for the new Texas Hold'em bonus Poker. The best "hole cards" (2-card starting hand) sometimes will not win... and the worst starting hand (hole cards) sometimes becomes the winning poker hand after all of the community cards are exposed.
Casino war is a casino card game based on the children's game of War. The game is arguably one of the most easily understood casino card games, but it also has a relatively large house edge compared to other games.
The game is normally played with six standard 52 card decks. The cards are ranked in the same way that cards in poker games are ranked, except that aces are always high.
Spanish 21, is a variation of Blackjack. The objective of Spanish 21 is for a Player to come as close to 21 without going over, while still having a higher total than the Dealer. Prior to receiving any cards, the Player must place a bet. Once the bet is made, the Player is dealt two cards face up.
The Dealer is also dealt two cards. If the total value of the Player's cards is closer to 21 than the Dealer, the Player wins as much as was bet. The Player also wins if the Dealer goes over 21 and the Player has not busted. If the Player's total goes over 21, the Player loses the amount bet.
Blackjack and other card game players must be 21 years old. If you, or someone you know has a gambling problem, please call 1-888-ADMIT-IT.
